How We Pack

Protect the cards. Spare the planet.

Protection First

Cards Arrive Mint

Singles and slabs ship in sleeves, toploaders and rigid mailers. Protection comes first — because a card that arrives damaged is the least sustainable outcome of all.

Right-Sized

Recyclable Where We Can

We match the box to the order, lean on paper-based and recyclable materials wherever protection allows, and avoid single-use plastic that the product doesn’t genuinely need.

Less, Reused

No Packaging Theatre

No oversized boxes, no filler for show. We keep packaging to what the order needs, and reuse clean, protective materials from our own inbound shipments rather than binning them.

Producer Responsibility

We pay our way.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) means the business that puts packaging on the market — not the taxpayer, not the customer — funds its collection and recycling. It’s easy to ignore as a small seller. We don’t.

Registered & Licensed

LUCID Packaging Register

Phoenix is registered on Germany’s LUCID Verpackungsregister and licensed with a dual system, paying the fees that fund the real-world collection and recycling of the packaging we place on that market.

As We Grow

Compliant, Not Cutting Corners

As we open new markets we register and license for each one’s EPR scheme rather than skirting it. Compliance isn’t a checkbox to us — it’s the cost of doing this properly.

Your Part

Small habits, big difference.

Recycle

Sort The Right Bits

Outer mailers and paper inserts go straight in household recycling. Booster wrappers and soft plastics need a soft-plastics collection — many supermarkets now take them at the door. Recycling rules vary by area, so check your local council’s guidance.

Reuse

Supplies Have A Long Life

Sleeves and toploaders don’t expire. Re-sleeve rather than re-buy, keep your mailers for trades and posts, and pass spare supplies on to newer players.

Buy Deliberately

The Best Pack Is The One You Wanted

Chase with intent rather than ripping for the sake of it. Master-set what you love, and trade the doubles back into the community instead of landfill.
