Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Pitch Black (ME05) is led by Mega Darkrai ex and Mega Zeraora ex, in an expansion of over 115 cards. Each Pitch Black booster pack (€6.99) contains 10 game cards, 1 Basic Energy and 1 Pokémon TCG Live code card; pack artwork (Mega Darkrai or Mega Zeraora) is supplied at random. The Pitch Black booster box (€229.99) holds 36 of those packs.
The cards everyone is chasing are the Mega Pokémon ex, including the alternate-art versions numbered beyond the main set.

How delivery works
Everything here comes from our shipping policy:
- Processing: Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays. Orders placed before 12:00 on a business day are typically processed the same day; later orders, and weekend or public-holiday orders, are processed the next business day.
- Standard delivery (An Post): 2–3 working days in the Republic of Ireland.
- Express delivery: 1–2 working days, where available.
- Tracking: you get an order confirmation straight away, then a dispatch email with your tracking number. Allow up to 24 hours for tracking to go live.
- Delivery charges: calculated at checkout from your address and the option you pick. Free delivery thresholds, where they apply, are shown on the site and at checkout. Free shipping is also a perk of the higher tiers of our free Gems membership.
- No customs: Phoenix TCG Limited is VAT-registered in Ireland and ships from Dublin, so prices include Irish VAT and there are no import duties, customs charges or paperwork at your door.
- Damaged parcel? Take photos straight away and email info@phoenixtcg.eu within 48 hours of receipt.

How to buy Pokémon cards safely
Fake Pokémon cards and tampered packs do circulate, especially through online marketplaces. A few rules keep you safe:
- Buy official product from a real business with a registered address, a VAT number, and a returns policy you can read before you pay.
- Be wary of prices that look too good to be true. A booster box far below the usual going rate is a warning sign, not a bargain.
- Check the packaging: genuine English product carries The Pokémon Company International branding and clean, sharp printing.

What to buy first: booster pack vs Elite Trainer Box vs booster box
There is no wrong answer; it depends on how many cards you want to open and whether you plan to play.
Booster pack
The cheapest way to try a set. One Pitch Black pack gives you 10 game cards, a Basic Energy and a code card for Pokémon TCG Live. Ideal as a treat, a stocking filler or a first taste.
Elite Trainer Box (ETB)
An ETB bundles booster packs with playing accessories in a storage box. For example, The Pokémon Company lists the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box with nine booster packs, a full-art promo card, 65 card sleeves, 40 Energy cards, damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die, a coin, a player's guide and a storage box. It is a good choice for a new player or a gift. We do not have an Elite Trainer Box in stock right now; if you already own one, our acrylic ETB case keeps it dust-free.
Booster box
The most packs in one go. Our Pitch Black booster box has 36 packs, for collectors who want to open a lot of one set, or for friends splitting packs. Buy it because you will enjoy opening it.

Returns, rewards and gift cards
Returns. Under our refund policy you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving it, without giving a reason, then return the goods within 14 days of telling us. We refund within 14 days to your original payment method, including the standard delivery charge. Change-of-mind return postage is yours to cover. Booster packs, boxes and other collectible products cannot be returned once opened, because the contents are then known. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items: email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will repair, replace or refund, and cover the return postage.
Gems. Our free membership gives you 500 Gems when you sign up and 1 Gem for every €1 you spend, which you can redeem at checkout. Climb the tiers (Onyx, Jade, Ruby and Diamond) for better perks.
